Description:About FRx, I have to be honest-a 20-year love/hate relationship. FRx concepts are the best-of-breed, world-class concepts in simplifying the writing of financial statements. Hundreds of hours and tens of thousands of consulting dollars working to clean it up, stablize it, and help figure out its quirks for clients. Teaching, re-teaching, reminding, and "just do it" deletion of the .g32 files. It was about Y2K when Microsoft and Great Plains Software eliminated the DLL conflicts. I didn't miss those problems at all.

So what will be better with Management Reporter? Stabilization on Microsoft SQL! No more .g32 files. That file is responsible for 80% of the problems within FRx.

To be certain, we must wait for the product to mature, but most of our clients have straightforward reporting needs and can migrate over to it this year. I wait in earnest for additional functionality that eventually will surpass FRx. I'm totally on board for this change and want my clients to know of my enthusiasm.
