| Title: | Over or under their credit limit???? |
| URL: | http://belindaallen.blogspot.com/2010/08/over-or-under-their-credit-limit.html |
| Description: | ![]() You have a credit limit with your personal credit card. Even a popular credit card that boasts no preset credit limit will not approve expenses if you spend in excess of your normal spending history. So why not enter credit limits for your customers? GP does something very cool with credit limits. You can enter a maximum amount, which is no big deal. You can also, however, enter a dollar amount based on your aging periods. Pull up a customer in the Customer Maintenance Window, and click on the options button at the bottom. On the Credit limit line, click on the Amount radio button and then click the Drill down Blue Arrow. This displays the Credit limit warning window. From here you can choose an aging period and another dollar amount. In the sample in the window above the customer has a $35,000.00 credit limit, but regardless of their balance, if even $.01 is over 60 days past due the customer has exceeded their credit limit. Cool huh? |
