| Description: | You can do it with Smart List! Create a Financial ~ Account Transaction Smart List Object. Add all the fields you want and enter criteria. If you want the entire year, add the column "Open Year" and add search criteria on that rather than the transaction date. That way you'll get Beginning Balances as well. I also like to add Originating Master ID, so I can see the vendor or customer ID as well; and you may want to add Reference as well. Note, this will only show net change, not period balances. Once this is in Excel, sort on account number and use the Subtotal feature (under data) to create a Subtotal outline. Voila! You have an Excel Trial Balance!  |
