DEXTERITY class May 10th in Orlando http://dynamicsconfessions.blogspot.com/2010/01/dexterity-class-may-10th-in-orlando.html
I am happy to announce that the Dexterity I class is on the schedule for the week of May 10th, 2010 in Orlando, FL.
This class is a lot of fun and will be especially helpful for VBTools programmers. It will teach you just enough Dexterity to make your integrations easier. Officially, it's the Dexterity Basics class which assumes the student has not done any work with Dexterity, but is familiar with programming in general.
At the end of the 5-day class you will know how to create Forms and Windows, write scripts and procedures, and create triggers that interact with…

Developing Customizations with Dexterity's 3-Trigger Technique http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2009/03/developing-customizations-with.html

One of the biggest challenges faced by third-party developers is the ability to establish the proper place to set a trigger. Remember, Dexterity developers don't usually work with source code. However, in the process of establishing the proper point for placing a trigger, we have help in the form of code traces. My friend

Cross Dictionary Development with Microsoft Dexterity http://dynamicsgpblogster.blogspot.com/2008/07/cross-dictionary-development-with.html

When I first started working in 1996 as a Software Development Engineer on the Dynamics GP Spanish release for Latin America project in Colombia for my former company Nucleus S.A. -- a Microsoft regional partner at the time -- I was challenged by a number of puzzling coding issues that seem to have no solution. Our inability to access third party dictionary information interactively with Dynamics GP was the absolutely most disappointing issue we faced since we had great plans for integrating Fixed Assets (back then a Forestar product) with GP for some Latin American localizations needed at the time. Those issues propagated over a period of 2 years, and…

Product Suggestion: IntelliSense implementation for Microsoft Dexterity http://blogs.msdn.com/b/developingfordynamicsgp/archive/2010/06/29/product-suggestion-intellisense-implementation-for-microsoft-dexterity.aspx

Mariano Gomez (The Dynamics GP Blogster) has decided to highlight something the Dexterity Development community has dreamt about for years.
Ever since colour coding and auto scrolling* was added to the Dexterity Script Editor, the idea of support for IntelliSense has been on the wish list. The problem is that we have no idea when or…
